Did you see the full moon?

Last night, the moon was the fullest it has been this whole year. I tried to take some good pictures but I was not successful at capturing the glory of the full moon. Here is an altered shot from my front porch. It looks like it is the sun coming up early in the morning. Actually, it is around 6:30 p.m. Magic Moon!

Full Moon in Whitewright, Texas

The moon was so bright last night. I knew it was going to be a full moon because I watch the moon phases. The moon has always captured my gaze even when I was a little girl. Last night I caught myself peeping through the curtains checking to make sure the moon was still big and bright. Assuring myself I didn't miss out on the spectacular ball in the sky. While I was waiting on the coffee to brew, this morning, I went out my back door to check on the moon one more time before the sun came up. Vicki's house had a hint of sunshine and there was the moon. Still in the sky, big and bright. I could not pass up the chance to capture a photo. I gotta say I am so happy to have this opportunity to be right here, right now. Life is good.

Chevy's Restaurant

Sherrie, David and I had dinner at Chevy's Restaurant in Illinois on Monday, 20 Oct 08. The night just before I left to come back home from a 10-day visit to their house. These two people are the most gracious people on the planet. And, as you can tell, we all belived in PEACE! Sherrie has been my friend since 7th grade in Dallas, Texas. She has been a good friend to me and has taught me how to be a good friend in return. I love her and will keep her close to me, always. Thank you for another wonderful visit.

Belize, Central America

Belize was the most amazing place I have seen in quite a while. Sherrie and I settled into the OASIS and she took me all around Ambergris Caye. It was fantastic. She is a very good host. I highly recommend a trip with her; she is very attentive and entertaining. She IS my best friend. I love you, Sherrie. OK, Belize is really nice. Lots of sand, sun, and palms. The people all smile and wave. They are very easy to talk to and friendly. Oh, and the food is really tastey. I enjoyed breakfast and the coffee. The pool was wonderful in the morning. I had the pool to my self.
